Dave Souza:
Each year at the PORAC Conference the Chapter votes as to whether, or not the Chapter should cover the cost of providing meals for Chapter members at the monthly meetings. The purpose of providing meals was to increase member participation each month. Since beginning the program five years ago attendance has increased. Paul Brown (Treasurer) indicated that since beginning this tradition, the Valley Chapter has not suffered a loss in revenue. He then provided the following report to support his comment:

Checking: $15, 697.25
PAC Account: $46, 598.71
PIC Account: $ 3, 340.96

Motion - Randy Beintema (San Joaquin DSA) made a motion to cover the dinner bill for members at monthly Chapter meetings

A request came to the Chapter from Cathleen Galgiani for a letter of support from the Valley Chapter.

Based upon the discussions held in the Region II meeting, I would like to suggest that we lump proposals #1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10 together.

Paul Brown:
In recognition for his time as President of the Valley Chapter, Paul Brown presented outgoing president, Dave Souza with a plaque on behalf of the Valley Chapter. Another plaque will be presented to Andy Schlenker at a later date as the outgoing Vice President.
