1. Motion to accept minutes by Simpson, 2nd by Papadopoulos, Motion carried.

VI. Treasurer's Report

1. Andy Schlenker reported that we have $15,663 in our general account and approximately $23,0000 in our PAC account.

VII. Old Business

1. Mark Smith is running for the Board of Administration of PERS. Motion made by Randy Beintema to donate $2500 to Mark Smith's campaign. Motion amended by Schlenker to only donate the money after Smith has qualified to be on the ballot.  Motion as amended seconded by Victor Sanchez.  Motion carried. (Smith abstained from voting or discussion of monetary donation.)

VIII. New Business

1. Beintema spoke of new bill regarding rolling blackouts. This bill would make it mandatory for Chiefs and Sheriffs to be notified in advance of blackouts.

2. Bob Jarvis discussed the upcoming labor symposium.

IX. Reports

A. PAC/OGA:

1. Mike Ervin discussed bill which would allow officers to collect punitive damages for violations of POBOR rights. Ervin also discussed ACLU adding money to CHP budget to document racial profiling. Discussed a Santa Cruz judge throwing out SB 402 in Santa Cruz. This is being appealed.

1. Stanislaus DSA reported that they ratified a new contract that got them a 16% raise over four years and 3% at 50 retirement by next year.
