V. Approval of Minutes

1.  Minutes for February meeting were reviewed.  Motion by Beintema to accept.  Second by Schmidt.  Motion carried.

VI. Treasurer's report

1. Paul Brown was absent on other PORAC business.

VII. Old Business

Three motions were brought back to the floor from the February meeting for any opposition:
1.  Beintema made a motion to endorse Barbara Mathews for the 17th Assembly District.  Seconded by Joe Schmidt.  Motion carried.
2.  Beintema made a motion to endorse Greg Agazarian for the 26th Assembly District.  Seconded by Joe Schmidt.  Motion carried.
3.  Beintema made a motion to endorse Michael Machado for the 5th Senate District.  Seconded by Mark Smith.  Stockton POA, Yolo DSA, and Lodi POA voted in opposition to the motion.  Motion did not carry.  No endorsement from the Valley Chapter for the 5th Senate District.

 VIII. New Business

1.  Mention was made to use caution when dealing with the "Badge of Honor Memorial Foundation."

B. Insurance and Benefits

1.  Dave French annouced that PORAC Blue Cross Insurance was only going up 2% this year.

1.  None

D. Service Provider's Reports

1.  Several LDF cases were discussed.  San Joaquin Grand Jury indicted two deputies.  Action against Madera DA over DA Investigators having to keep daily logs.  Issues with the El Dorado District Attorney over Brady letter problems.
