VIII. New Business

1.  Plaque was presented to Doug Ridenour in appreciation of his many years of service to the Valley Chapter of PORAC.  Doug was President of the Chapter for longer than anybody could remember so we couldn't put the dates on the plaque.

2.  The idea of having a fixed meeting location in a central location for the Valley Chapter was discussed.  The idea died for a lack of interest in changing the current practice of revolving the meeting locations.

3.  Roseville POA made a request for money to send officers to the peace officer memorial in Washington DC.   Most of the discussion was against the idea of using Chapter money for this.  The request died for a lack of a motion from the floor.
