1. Letter received from NYPD thanking PORAC for support after September 11th.
2. PORAC Headquarters has changed their e-mail addresses.
IX. Reports
A. PAC/OGA:
Randy Beintema reported on numerous issues relating to bills that are in progress. Discussed PERS credit process for time spent on Military leave.
B. Insurance & Benefits:
None
C. LDF:
Andy Schlenker reported that LDF Plan IV will be eliminated on July 1. Plan VII will also be eliminated and plan VII members will switch to plan II. Andy also discussed lawsuit over defective gas tanks in pre 98 Crown Vics.
D. Service Providers:
Clark of MHA discussed Sacramento PD case where officer got his job back and all back pay.
Beltran of OE3 reported on negotiations for Oakdale PD and Livingston PD
Tim Talbot spoke about Colusa County
Bob Phibbs discussed El Dorado DSA dropping LDF and then having a criminal case.
John Holdstedt discussed new workers comp laws for Jan 2003. Also new PERS laws on 4850 and new laws making lower back injuries presumptive injuries.
E. Association Reports:
San Joaquin DSA is in negotiations.

Valley Chapter presented Andy Schlenker with a plaque for his years of service to the Chapter.
